Bird Songs is a short recital of art song crafted for the “wiggle giggle” crowd (preschool - 1st grade). Performed in the Market House Theatre’s newly constructed outdoor theatre, the Opera in Overall duo will engage young audiences with a riveting story about a singing contest between a cuckoo and a nightingale. Features music by Leonard Bernstein, Gustav Mahler, Modest Mussorgsky, and Ricky Ian Gordon.
